CCR Operator / CCR Officer

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented CCR Operator / Officer to monitor and control terminal operations from the Central Control Room. The ideal candidate should have experience in liquid terminal, tank farm, oil & gas, petrochemical, or chemical process industries and be capable of ensuring safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operations through DCS/SCADA systems.

Key Responsibilities

1. Monitor and control terminal operations through DCS/SCADA/PLC systems.
2. Supervise product receipt, storage, transfer, and dispatch operations from the Control Room.
3. Monitor tank levels, pressures, temperatures, flow rates, and process parameters.
4. Coordinate with Field Operators to ensure smooth and safe execution of operational activities.
5. Respond promptly to process alarms and take appropriate corrective actions.
6. Maintain shift logs, operational records, and daily reports accurately.
7. Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), HSE guidelines, and terminal safety standards.
8. Coordinate with Maintenance, Electrical, and Instrumentation teams during planned and breakdown maintenance.
9. Participate in emergency response, shutdown, and startup activities.
10. Monitor utility systems and ensure uninterrupted terminal operations.
11. Report operational abnormalities and recommend corrective actions.
12. Ensure proper communication during shift handovers.

Requirements

Required Skills

1. Hands-on experience with DCS, SCADA, PLC, and HMI systems.
2. Knowledge of liquid terminal operations and tank farm activities.
3. Understanding of pumps, valves, pipelines, loading/unloading operations, and process instrumentation.
4. Good analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
5. Strong communication and coordination skills.
6. Ability to work in rotational shifts.
7. Knowledge of HSE regulations, permit-to-work systems, and emergency response procedures.
